Shannon's Birthday
Some of the gang at the party.
Laney said she was going to moon the camera in the group picture. I didn't believe her, but she did it. Laney is a lot of fun. I'm the beautiful golden dog between Zoey and Sandy over on the left side of the picture.
Another group shot.
If that lady in the pink shirt lowers her hand down about 2 feet, that cake will be mine.
My people are always looking for some reason to have cake. And, I sure don't blame them. Cake is one of my favorite things. Having cake at the Bark Park is like eating cake in heaven, or at least how I imagine it would be.
Shannon is a golden doodle that is like practically my cousin because we are both 1/2 golden. It was Shannon's birthday at the bark park recently. Wow... talk about the best time ever! Shannon must have the coolest people in the world. Because they actually brought out two cakes. OOOOoooo!
It was apparently a record turn out for the bark park. I heard that there were 19 dogs there at one time. And, there were a few that left, and then others came while I was there. So, I think there must have been around 23 different dogs there while I was there. Oh... in case I forgot to mention it, there was also two cakes there.
Another group shot.
One of the best turn outs ever at the park.
Since Shannon and I are like cousins, I figured I was welcome to lots of cake. So, ran down there quick and got my cake. Then, every time someone had a some cake, and they held it down by me... or at least held down lower than I how high can jump, I got that cake also.
Looking for some unguarded cake.
After about my fourth piece of cake I heard some people telling dad that I had already eaten a bunch of cake and they were worried about me getting sick. But, getting sick from cake??!!!! That makes no sense at all. Cake is a good thing. The more of a good thing you have it makes it just that much better. You can't have too much of a good thing. That is what I always say.
Dad leashed me up and held on to me for a while, so other dogs could get their cake... but, I don't know why he did that. I was kind of mad about that for a while.
Since there were so many dogs there I got to see all of my best friends. I always love it when Cooper is there. We played a lot. But, Cooper doesn't like balloons, so he stayed away the area where the cake was, because there was balloon there. I think that is smart. There are some balloons that I stay away from too.
Cooper staying away from the balloon.
Near the end of the party my buddy Murray bet me a dog biscuit that he could jump up and get the rest of the cake. He gave it a good try, but Baily's mom caught him and made him get down. Good effort Murray. I think we can call that one a a tie.

Good day at the park again! Looking forward to seeing more of my friends out there, and hopefully one day soon, more cake.
